Built specifically for individual competitors and duos, the COD Mobile tournament mode is the ultimate place where you can compete against highly skilled players to showcase your skills. As is tradition, you’ll be rewarded with unique rewards when you secure a win and climb the global leaderboard. With that said, here’s a quick guide on how to participate in COD Mobile tournaments and start racking up those wins.
How to participate in the COD Mobile tournament mode?
To enroll yourself in a COD Mobile tournament, head over to the main Multiplayer lobby and look for the Tournament Mode. Once you’re in, you’ll find yourself in a dedicated hub that offers a mode selection and a peek at rewards known as Milestones and the Leaderboards.
You can also track your wins and losses during a Tournament round in this tab. Finally, join the mode according to the schedule mentioned in the next section.
Schedule and basic rules
Now, here’s the catch – the tournament mode is only open three days a week: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. And you’ve got a four-hour window each day to make your mark. So, make sure to plan your gaming sessions accordingly because once those four hours are up, the mode closes until the next day.
Once you’re in the tournament mode, it’s all about playing as many games as you can within those four hours. The goal is to rack up as many wins as possible, with each win earning you a crown. And the best part? You don’t lose crowns for losing, so just keep playing and aim for those victories.
As for the game modes, the selection may vary, but we had to jump into the 4v4 Arena mode during our playthrough. In the future, expect to see more game modes like free-for-all, 2v2 TDM, Domination, and more.
Milestones and rewards from CoD Mobile tournaments
Now, let’s talk rewards. There are three types: victory rewards, milestone rewards, and rank rewards. Victory rewards are given out by rounds – win all four games in a round, and you’ll earn an extra crown, making it five crowns in total. Plus, if you win four games, you get a chance to open crates, which usually include items like the Red Sprite backpack or the knife.
Milestone rewards work like a battle pass – the more crowns you earn, the more gifts you unlock, including crates with Red Sprite camos, soldiers, and emotes. You max out your rewards at 20 crowns.
And then there are rank rewards – the more crowns you accumulate, the higher you climb on the leaderboard. So, keep playing and aim for those wins to secure your spot among the top players.
Now, here’s a little tip – if you’ve completed your four games but didn’t manage to snag four wins, you’ll have the option to pay 30 COD points to play another game and try for that elusive fourth win. Just remember to use this option wisely, as it may not always be worth it.
As always, we recommend taking a look at our COD Mobile tips and tricks to excel in crucial aspects of the game and outrank your opponents.
