There have been multiple instances and stories about friends being made due to fans of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) playing together. However, BGMI currently has a cap of 250 friends in the game. It’s crucial to have an active circle of in-game friends to rank up together. How to unfriend in BGMI?

Players can follow these steps to unfriend an account in BGMI in 2024:

  • Open the BGMI App: Firstly, you have to launch BGMI on your phone. On the home screen, on the left-hand side of the screen, you will see the friends tab. Click on the Friends Tab.
  • Open the Friends Tab: In the Friends section, click on the “=” and select the batch manage option.
  • Select accounts to unfriend: After clicking on the batch manage, there will be a selection interface that will pop up. On this interface select all the accounts that you wish to remove/unfriend in BGMI.
  • Confirm unfriend action: After selecting the desired accounts, proceed to select the delete option located below the list of players and confirm by clicking OK. After tapping on delete, there will be another pop-up to confirm the choice. Click on the “OK” button to confirm your choice.

In many cases, after a few months of playing BGMI, players go inactive in the game. Due to this, certain players believe it’s ideal to remove these inactive friends from the game. Furthermore, removing friends helps you cut off toxic gamers who could be interfering with your gameplay experience.
