The Fortnite Reboot Rally is a unique promotion, a chance to earn some free cosmetics in-game. Unlike events though, these are regular promotions that deal with you interacting with other players. The goal in the latest Reboot Rally is for you to “reboot’’, or bring back a friend to the game! You’ll both then get exclusive Fortnite cosmetics.
If you have any friends who aren’t part of the record-high Fortnite player base in 2024, this is a perfect promotion. Through convincing them to come back and teaming up you can pick up a handful of new cosmetics. The rewards are free and easy to get. However, it’s only running for a month and you’ll need a specific other friends’ account to get started. This is how it works.

Fortnite Reboot Rally Back for 2024
Another round of the Fortnite Reboot Rally is active in-game! It’s going to be running through until May 5th, so you’ve got plenty of time to get everything finished up. There are a handful of new rewards you’ll be able to collect through the scheme. These are the free Fortnite cosmetics.
- Hailstorm Rider Glider
- Reckoner’s Blades Pickaxe
- Forsaken Eye Wrap
There’s no free Fortnite skin this time. However, the other cosmetics are fun too. These could be a great match for a skin from the item shop too. How can you qualify and collect these rewards though?
In the friends tab inside the game, you’ll be able to see if any of your friends are eligible to be rebooted. Essentially if they’ve not played for long enough. Get them to log back in, and party up with them. Then you’ll be able to start completing the in-game Reboot Rally Quests.
What are the Quests?
The Fortnite Reboot Rally Quests this time around are fairly basic. You really just need to gradually complete simple tasks in Battle Royale and other modes. As you earn XP and finish some milestones, you’ll unlock these cosmetics. The rewards come both for those being rebooted and those doing the rebooting. So, everyone gets something for taking part here!
To qualify to get rebooted, you’ll need to partner up with the right player. This is a player who has played less than 2 hours for 30 days before April 2nd. Anyone who has been in-game for more than 2 hours won’t qualify. If you can find one of these players and bring them back, you can unlock all of the Fortnite Reboot Rally rewards.
