The UK’s first professional women’s esports tournament of 2024, the Red Bull Instalock, is about to hit the Red Bull Gaming Sphere in Shoreditch, London for two days of action from April 20th – 21st.

Red Bull Instalock is bringing together four of the world’s best women’s VALORANT teams to battle it out and claim the title of inaugural champions. These teams have also headlined the VCT Game Changers.

Furthermore, the Red Bull Gaming Sphere in Shoreditch is going to be transformed into a real-life version of the legendary VALORANT map ‘Icebox.’
Adding to the excitement, the Red Bull Instalock is shaking things up with a unique format. Each team will have to use three duelists. Thus, fans can expect some seriously aggressive plays, along with tactical expertise and clutch skills on full display. Besides the top women’s teams competing for the title, there’s also going to be an exhibition match featuring some of your favorite VALORANT creators.
We’ve got an all-star lineup for the broadcast too. Renowned British esports host, Yinsu Collins, will be leading the charge, with commentary provided by Kieran “Kairo” Tulloch, Billie “BillieIDK” Purdie, Matt “Twiggy” Twigg, and Harry “Hazza” Chapman. The creator showmatch on April 21, on the other hand, will be hosted by Megan ‘Megsoundslikeegg’ Garner.
“It’s fantastic to see another event for women’s VALORANT come into play and Red Bull Instalock is another amazing step into making a really lively competitive scene,” said G2 Gozen’s Michaela “mimi” Lintrup. “It’s also going to be great for fans, with the format twist bringing a really exciting and new edge to every matchup.”
The tournament will be broadcast live on Red Bull’s Twitch and YouTube channels.
